…and so we’re off to Foundry again tomorrow to play God of Battles. As ever, if you’re local and fancy a game then feel free to pop along. I’ve been challenged to a 48 point battle, so I’ll be doing that some of the time, but there are always people on hand to show newcomers the ropes and run an intro game if you fancy one.
Look forward to seeing you there 🙂
What’s the difference between God of Battles and Eternal Battle then?
GoB is a mass battle game where models are formed into units. Eternal Battle is a skirmish game of individuals. Click on the names in the header above for links to articles explaining this in more detail.
The Eternal Battle link is a bit … spartan right now!
Looking forward to learning more, though.
Sorry I could get to this weekend Jake , wasn’t to well.. Will make the next one.
How about some video footage for us that can’t make it because we’re in another country?
On the cards for a later date. I’m looking into a decent camera at the moment. Not sure how much it’s going to cost and I want to know so I can start saving my pennies. There are some things like this, and some rules issues, which are just loads simpler to show on a short video.
Excellent. Thanks.
Jake, how about tapping the Beasts of War guys for a intro video? Especially as they’ve got a notts base camp. I’d also have to say that the foundry is one of wargaming’s hidden gems and could benefit greatly from some BoW exposure.
It’s certainly an idea. I’ll see what Warren has to say when he’s next over.
He’s on video saying BoW are going to cover (on the Salute coverage). Hold him to it, sir, hold him to it!
*cover GoB.
