Dwarf King’s Hold: Dead Rising came back into print yesterday, and by the afternoon they were sold out again!
I think they printed more of the new Green Menace, but I don’t know how long they’ll last.

Well, cheers to you ! That just means it’s a great game. And I know it is.
Thank you Elro 🙂
It’s looking increasingly more and more promising for all those expansions then? 😉
Fingers crossed 🙂
Meeting Ronnie to sort stuff out on friday.
After some experience adjusting the rules with doors and a simple hero I am convinced this rule set could be used as a core gaming system. This could be a be a base game that is added to for some time like D&D but in skirmish format. It does not take much change to really change the play. I can now see that there several ways to deal with the activation tokens for mixed race groups. I like the idea of mixed race groups because it is an alternative to building a hero in other games. Selecting races to build what is hopefully a heroic group would be entertaining. Now that Mantic is selling blister figures it would seem easy to add characters to DHK and make continued sales between boxed sets.
Just had to pimp for this before you talk to Ronnie. 🙂 I have started working on a wilderness version that uses a table top with squares that is carved up by canyon walls. Kind of the inverse of tiles to define the play area.
DKH is indeed a highly mutable system. Once you start tinkering it’s surprising how a small change can make quite a large difference to game play.
The blister option is indeed an option. Hopefully sort out a plan this week.
