Sorry I was there yesterday, not planning on wasting another £8. Not that great a show this year.
That’s interesting, I’ve just got back and had a better time than last year. Completely fried brain, but that was expected. Ran out of time and there was a bunch of stuff that looked worthwhile but I didn’t get round to.
I’m not saying there weren’t interesting things there this year, there was, and I’ll list them in the inevitable article I’m sure, but it wasn’t as pleasant an experience this year as it was last.
That’s a shame. Would it put you off going next year when it’s in its shiny new venue?

Personally I think it wasn’t as well attended by companies as it was last year and I also think some of those who did attend weren’t really wanting to be there, and hadn’t taken it seriously. I hope the move to a new venue helps them out I really do, because it needs something and it needs to attract more companies and give them the space to show their wares off properly. Well that’s my opinion.
When I get 5 minutes not writing games I’ll write up a few thoughts myself. I went to the trader’s seminar about next year too, so have a bit of an inkling of what’s going on đŸ™‚
It’s supposed to be at one of the big hotels out at the NEC next year, going on what I’ve heard. To be honest I think they outgrew the Masonic halls a year or two back.
Any chance of meeting one of you next year at Tactica at Hamburg?
Anything’s possible I’ve not really looked at cons for next year yet.
I was actually asked if I would be interested in going to a German convention by a reader of my Blog. Never really thought of it before, but if I have the dosh I’m planning obn doing a few European shows next year.
Well, I will be at SPIEL ’12 the whole week. Maybe then…
