Morning all.
I’m reorganising the pages on the site and rewriting a bunch of them today, so things will appear and disappear. Don’t fret. It’s all for the Greater Good. Trust me.
It’s been a long while since I did this and lots has happened in the last year. What I’d planned to do on Quirkworthy and what I’ve actually done have been rather different and the site needs updating to reflect the reality a bit better.
Does this count as my “Sunday Support” article? No. I’ll be tackling some of the FAQs and adding a DB Card Commentary for that.

It would be awesome if you could get the DB FAQ to a PDF sometimes. Just the Q&A, not the discussions. I think that would help new players a lot more than having to wade through the Living FAQ. Happy holidays to you!
That’s on my list of stuff to do. I was going to try and deal with all the comments then do 2 pdfs (with and without discussion) from there.

Cool, personally I like to see the rationale behind an answer, though ofc it’s useful to have one without discussion for quick reference during games 🙂
That was my thinking. Do both then folk can pick.
While patiently waiting for the PDFs and DB card commentary, I’ll keep painting my DB teams…
…and I keep waiting for my delivery to be, eh, delivered…
Well I got the DB FAQ down to a mere 100 comments (from about 150), which is a start. The card commentary is part written and will be finished tomorrow if I can avoid some of that Christmas nonsense 😉

As I said earlier, I’m going to absorb the rest of the comments into the FAQ before I make a pdf then I won’t have to do it all again in a few days.
Once it’s done it will be linked on the FAQ page and then can be posted to BGG, the Mantic forums, and anywhere else it might be helpful.
I have no problem with people reposting the FAQ at all. I’d just remind you that I haven’t the time to trawl the net looking for work to do answering questions. If people want a reply from me on a new question then they know where to come and ask 😉

A motivating discussion is worth comment. I think that you ought to publish more on this issue, it may not be a taboo matter but generally folks don’t discuss these topics. To the next! All the best!!
