Overzealous Filters

For some reason the spam filters here have been working overtime and have jumped on a bunch of comments by real humans. I’ve had a rummage and gone back through a couple of dozen pages of spam to drag out the innocents. As far as I can tell all the real comments should be visible now (bar duplicate reposts which I didn’t reinstate).

What is a bit odd is that there doesn’t seem to be a good reason for this. It’s normally reasonably clear why the filters are picking on something. In some cases here they binned a comment that was a single sentence of plain text. I have no idea why.

To be sure that they’re behaving properly, I’ll check the spam filters over the next few days. Fingers crossed that they’ll have stopped their silliness.

In the meantime please keep those comments coming 🙂

Did you get the link to my blog about 90mm scale wargaming the other week? It was in your post “Big, Bigger, Biggest.” Next month I shall be completing my 90mm conversion of your ‘Ancient Heroes’ skirmish game.

Phew! Glad to see this sorted – I was having real issues yesterday, which was frustrating as I had lots of opinions about the Season 3 Teams I was looking to share – sorry for all the duplicate posts – there must have been a fair few of mine floating around out there!

You were the major victim of the filter’s zealotry, though there were a couple of others. Nice to see you can post now. I’ll keep checking for a bit to be sure.

This had been happening to me again recently…

Probably in the wrong place but im wishing to start a mini dreadball league and as im supplying all the miniatures I was wondering if you could formulate a plan to dispense with another way for players to spend their money to prevent me having to boost the teams to 16 and concentrate in buying all the teams instead perhaps a variation of the free agents table using players from teams not playing at that time?
