Posted on October 12, 2014 by Quirkworthy

I often hear people bemoaning the lateness of this or that Kickstarter project. Some are over a year behind schedule, and so it’s hardly surprising folk get peeved. In contrast to this trend, I recently got a boxed game called … Continue reading →

Posted on October 11, 2014 by Quirkworthy

Not game stats, but website stats. This morning I looked at the stats for this site to see how many page views there had been. At that point there had been 270. The strange thing was that there had, apparently, … Continue reading →

Spy Vs Spy

Posted on October 9, 2014 by Quirkworthy

Nothing to do with Deadzone. Can anyone recommend any good board (or card) games about spies, espionage, counter-intelligence, and similar cloak and dagger skullduggery? I can’t think of any really good ones off the top of my head. I’m sure … Continue reading →

Posted on September 8, 2014 by Quirkworthy

Slight change of plan. Remember those Mars Attacks miniatures I showed you yesterday? Well I had to give them back for photography. Still haven’t got the whole shipment of those things in yet. However, I’ve managed to replace them with … Continue reading →

Posted on September 7, 2014 by Quirkworthy

As the comments on my post on diversity seem to be drifting this way anyway, perhaps it’s worth starting a topic about new recruits. Gaming seems to be doing pretty well these days. The rise of English language Euro games, … Continue reading →

Improving Diversity In Miniature Gaming

Posted on September 6, 2014 by Quirkworthy

Recently, over on Beastsofwar, there was a series of discussions on the forum about whether Games Workshop was racist or not. As is the way with these things, it bled sideways into various related topics and became somewhat heated at … Continue reading →
